Monica B began her music career in 1994 in Dallas, Texas as lead singer for the band GBop Jazz and trained under the legendary Motown producer and recording artist Willie Hutch. Her background vocals are featured on major movie soundtracks scored by Willie Hutch.
Monica B has opened for headline acts including Harry Connick Jr. and R&B Grammy recording artists Mint Condition. She has performed in benefit concerts sponsored by American Airlines, Exxon, Blockbuster Video, Coca-Cola, AT&T, and the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, a foundation that is very close to her heart.
Monica has performed at the hottest night clubs and wineries in San Diego, including Cafe 21 and Dizzy's; venues in Cabo San Lucas, and La Paz, Baja, Mexico. Monica’s versatile sound appeals to a wide range of audiences from jazz standards, R&B, Country and Contemporary music.
